Supply Chain Section Manager

Responsibilities:-
  • Manage and lead a team of SCM Engineers to achieve department goals.
  • Acts as primary interface with the company's suppliers for all relationship management that includes contract negotiation, establishing business framework, performance reviews and business development.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify and manage vendors to ensure cost competitiveness and to meet customers’ service level requirement.
  • Establish and manage key performance metrics and benchmarks for key suppliers.
  • Keep abreast of new developments within the industry through benchmarking activities for future purchase and for supply chain excellence.
  • Interface with key customers and internal departments on supplier quality management.
Requirements:-
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Material Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 – 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in Mechanical and Electro-mechanical components or parts in a high mix/low volume environment preferred
  • Good knowledge of marketplace conditions on a broad range of strategic commodities
  • Proficient in MS applications and ERP/MRP application system
  • Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Supply Chain Engineer

Responsibilities:-
  • Integrate new product plan into operating plan and optimize ramp timings to achieve maximum production output
  • Expedite and negotiate with suppliers for contractual agreements and urgent requirements
  • Identify and recommend potential supply base to fulfil commodity needs
  • Develop procurement strategy, manage and improve suppliers and strategic partners performance on quality and on time delivery
  • Manage lead cost and lead time reduction programs
  • Manage all products transiting from FA stage to production mode
  • To champion and perform quotation projects assigned.
Requirements:-
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Material Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in procurement practices and/or supply chain management will be advantageous
  • Previous experience in Mechanical components or parts preferred
  • Proficient in MS applications and ERP/MRP application system
  • Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
